Local Live app

User Research and UX Design

Local Live is a reliable and comprehensive source to discover live music events happening in the Twin Cities, all in an easy to use app.

Project overview

Our hypothesis- As a user researcher, I want to understand how people find live music events.

We believe by creating a mobile app that allows users to search & find local live music events, the users will attend live shows more & the singers, bands, and venues will have more patrons/revenue.

My contributions- In this project I conducted user interviews and used the notes to create a user persona to better under who would be using our product. I also created the UX script for this project.

Key Insights

  1. The app should have a feature that tells the user about the venue

  2. Many users would like to be able to filter out genres in the app

  3. Have the app set a distance radius
